1. What is U-Pointer?

1-1. What is U-Pointer?

U-Pointer is the Interactive Whiteboard which adopts the Image Processing Technology. It provides interactivity between PC and Display so you can use any display as the interactive whiteboard.

With U.Pointer, any kinds of displays, such as Projector, PDP, LCD, Rear projection display, and etc., become the interactive whiteboard with high quality and easiness.

1-2. Function of Each Part

U-Pointer and display are connected to the PC via USB and RGB cable. That's all for hardware connection.

1-3. U-Pointer installation Process

• In order to use the U.Pointer, it is necessary to install software and hardware and mounting process.
  
• With the simple driver of U.Pointer, it takes only couple of minutes to install but just enough to use.
  
• Alignment and calibration process are very simple and easy, so every user can do that by himself.

2. Features of U-Pointer

2-1. Interactivity between Display and PC

• The basic function of U-Pointer is the interactivity between PC and Display.
• U-Pointer gives perfect wireless mouse and Pen input function in windows mode.

	Click tap the U-Pointer Pen onto the display surface. It's same mouse click
	Double-Click Tap the U-Pointer Pen onto the display twice. It's double-clcik
	Drag Touch the object in the display with the Pen and drag
	Right button click Press the U-Pointer Pen Onto the display for 1 second, it's same as right button click

2-2. Smart Pen Work

	Accuracy & Easiness Accurate enough to write 20 fonts size character. Write as same as you write with chalk on the blackboard. Small Size pen make you can write fast and easy.
	Accuracy of Pen Pen position coincides with cursor without error. This enables you to draw accurate and precise drawings. When math class, you can draw complex diagram accurately.
	Fast response Previous electronic board, because of the delayed sensor response time, you may feel your hand is heavy during drawing. U-Pointer provides real time sensor response, so as for you to draw even fast sketch or writing with light movement.

2-3. Easy GUI(Board Software, i-Pro)

• Writing function is grouped according to similarity and conveniences.
• Floating menu bar or Fixed menu bar are provided and in case of fixed menu bar, you can place menu bar on every side of windows frame.
• Functions which are not used frequently are hidden on the configuration setting.

2-4. Authoring Function(i-Pro)

U-Pointer provides the board software(i-Pro) with bundle for better writing function. This i-Pro supports Authoring Function to recording lecture note, writings, video, audio. This is multi.media contents of your lecture which created
by U.Pointer & i.Pro.

2-5. Available Any Size & Type of Display

	U-Pointer can sense displayed image from the front or from the back. Therefore PDP, LCD, Rear Projection TV, Projector can be the interactive whiteboard. This makes you can use any types of displays as the interactive whiteboards.
	Image Sensor Technology is adopted and implemented in small outfit. In order to use the U-pointer with any kind of display, such as beamed wall, beamed white board, PDP, LCD, Rear projection TV. Especially for the rear projection type, you can install the U.pointer inside of the Rear Projection TV.

2-6. Flexible Display Size

With the Conventional Electronic Board, the size of display is fixed to its hardware such as PDP, LCD or Rear Projection TV. U.Pointer supports accurate performance from 40 inches to 150 inches of display size, you can adjust and use any size of display as your preference.

2-7. Easy & Simple Installation

	U-Pointer body is designed to ratate & tilt easily. This feature provides fast alignment regardless of the U-Pointer's location on projector or ceiling. (Rotate angle : 360°/Tilt angle : -15°~90°)
	Light weight & Small size of U-Pointer make you can carry it to any places. And mounting U.pointer on the projector and connect it to PC via USB cable, That’s all to use virtual electronic board. With this feature, conventional electronic board never beat the U-Pointer.

2-8. Supporting Multi Display

By operating U-pointer with multiple wide display ( more than two 4:3 displays without separating between adjacent displays) is implemented. This application is extremely suitable for educational purpose.
